The Front End Loader is a nationally recognised training course that gives participants the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently operate a Front-End Loader or Integrated Tool Carrier and work in a range of different working environments.

• Legislations and standards applicable to operating a Front-End Loader &/or Integrated Tool Carrier
• Risk management, control procedures & prepare for Front-End Loader operations &/or Integrated Tool Carrier
• Drive and operate Front-End Loader &/or Integrated Tool Carrier, and modify the operating technique to meet work conditions
• Select, remove and fit attachments
• Relocate the Front-End Loader &/or Integrated Tool Carrier
• Carry out machine operator maintenance

Backhoe

Great Heavy Training School offers an easy-to-access backhoe operator training course. A backhoe ticket is a nationally recognised unit of competency that will give you the skills to operate a backhoe on a construction or building site. Having a backhoe ticket will qualify you for jobs in transport, mining, and agriculture. Learn in a real-life construction setting and become qualified for backhoe operations. Successful students will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment.

• A detailed training plan developed from our knowledge of the earthmoving industry
• Practical training recorded in a practical skills logbook
• Written and practical assessments conducted on completion of formal training
• All training materials, machinery and a hi-vis vest

• Must be atleast 18 years of age
• Photo ID is essential
• Basic English language, literacy and numeracy skills are essential
• Appropriate clothing and shoes must be worn
