Forklift Course Information

Duration: 2 days of training (depending on prior experience).
Cost: $550, which includes training, assessment, and necessary documentation.
Location: 359 Wrecker Road, Mansfield, QLD, 4122. Alternatively, On-site training available at your workplace    (machines must be provided by the employer).
Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years old and provide 100 points of valid ID.
Certifications: 
- TLILIC0003 - Licence to operate a forklift

TLILIC0003 – Licence to operate a forklift truck
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- No medical examination is required, as forklifts are only operated within the workplace in Queensland, you do not need a driver’s licence to complete the course.

How It Works

01

CONFIRM ELIGIBILITY & BOOK YOUR COURSE

Ensure you meet the minimum eligibility requirements, including being at least 18 years of age and having sufficient English proficiency to complete training and assessment.

COMPLETE TRAINING & ASSESSMENT

Attend structured theory and practical training at our Brisbane facility, or arrange on-site training where suitable. At the conclusion of the course, you will complete the required practical assessment.

03

RECEIVE CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, you will be issued a Statement of Attainment. An industry wallet card can also be requested where applicable.

Forklift FAQs

Upon successful completion of training and assessment, you will receive a Statement of Attainment. This allows you to apply for a High Risk Work (LF) licence through the relevant state authority.

The assessment includes both a knowledge component and a practical evaluation. You must demonstrate safe forklift operation, correct load handling, hazard awareness and adherence to workplace safety procedures.

No prior forklift experience is required. Training is structured to build skills progressively, starting with safety fundamentals before moving to practical operation and load management.

Training is conducted on equipment that meets high risk work licensing requirements. You will practise safe manoeuvring, load stability and operational checks in controlled conditions that reflect real workplace environments.
